TRE 23 Using an iPad in the Wild
On my first iPad session at a local Starbucks in Denver, I realize that overhead lights can be a challenge as reflections in the iPad’s screen. Some horsing around with a Gorilla tripod solved the problem. For a relatively simple project this morning, involving email, Safari, and Apple’s Pages word processor, I was able to leave my MacBook Air in the bag and work exclusively with the iPad.

Thanks for all your great insights on the iPad. I have no plans to purchase one for myself but have enjoyed learning more about it through your experiences. I will be interested to hear what you think of reading on it for a longer period of time. A friend of mine bought one and let me test drive it. I have not read comics in years but they sure look great on it.
